The
general public and businesses are invited to drop
off their electronic recycling items throughout our
recycling week during our normal business hours. We
will take just about any electronic item - there is
no need for it to work. Please be sure to view our
detailed list as televisions and computer
monitors have a recycling fee set by the recycling
company.

You are welcome to print the flyer and post at your
school, church, and workplace or on your
refrigerator as a reminder for you.
Year round we will take:
Batteries
(non-leaking, lead acid) - we have a drop off bin in
our store for household, camera, and phone
batteries. For larger (car
and lawn mower) batteries please ask one of our
associates for assistance.
Styrofoam chips
or peanuts must be clean and placed in clean plastic
bags (consider reusing large plastic shopping bags.
FAQ:
Do I need to remove the hard
drive from my computer or laptop? Answer:
It is optional. Hard drives left on computers
will be destroyed by the recycling company by
drilling a whole through the center.
Where should I park? Answer: Park in
front of our store on the street. There is on street
parking. Come inside and one of our associates will
direct you as to where to place your electronic
items.
I
have large amount of recycling. Can I receive
assistance removing it from my vehicle?
Answer: If you need assistance carrying your
items, please arrive between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon
on Saturday (the last day of our week long event).
We will have a team available to assist you.
I
notice that the proceeds go to a school. How does
this work? Answer: The recycling
company has allowed us to select a school (it must
be a non-profit school) to donate proceeds to. Each
time we hold an electronic recycling week will
select a different school in the community. |
